Your anniversary is the most special day on the calendar.
If you are celebrating your first,
25th, 50th or more,
it's time to mark the occasion in a tender way.
Read this tribute for a 10th anniversary
"Oh Amy, I have to thank you for this wonderful anniversary poem. It brought tears to my eyes
and happines to my parents. I couldn't think of a better gift."
It's comments such as these that bring a smile.

A Poetic Anniversary Example
Our Paw Paw is a country boy
Who farmed the Georgia dirt,
While Maw Maw was a townie,
Prim and proper in a skirt.
It all began at Music Club,
Where they made the rafters ring.
‘Twas there GB discovered that
Sweet Sue made his heart sing.
Then Paw Paw went to Maw Maw’s church
So he could see her there.
He loved her for her friendly smile,
Fair skin, and curly hair.
One time, when he’d been working
In the fields before a date,
Paw Paw showed up dirty
Just so he would not be late.
Well, Maw Maw’s aunt did not approve.
She thought he was no good.
But Paw Paw meant no disrespect,
And Maw Maw understood.
They went to drive-in movies
And they spent time pulling taffy.
By car, he zoomed her down the road.
(His speeding drove her daffy.)
One Music Club outing, each had dates
But ended up together,
And that is how their lives have been,
A couple now forever.
They both love Southern cooking and
They call it what they please,
With grits as ‘Georgia ice cream,’
Collard greens and black-eyed peas.
GB, for years a Navy Chief,
Has got a new career.
This government contractor’s a
Civil Engineer.
And Glenn, at Ward Middle School,
Has busy tasks that vary.
She’s worked for twenty-eight years there;
Now their Head Secretary.
They both like watching NASCAR
But the race makes them debate:
Maw Maw cheers Number 21,
Paw Paw likes Number 8.
They have a daughter and three sons
Who are their heart’s delight.
With blends of love and discipline,
They raised their children right.
Grandchildren in abundance make them
Happy and serene.
They have a baker’s dozen – Oops!
‘Biscuits’ makes fourteen.
Those grandkids keep them busy with
Band concerts, football games,
Horse shows and graduations…
And remembering all those names!
They’ve traveled far, to Yellowstone,
Grand Canyon, Alamo,
Mount Rushmore, and Niagara –
There’s no place they will not go!
A sports fan, Paw Paw loves to cheer
For his big family,
While Maw Maw, who’s a pack rat, keeps
Each loving memory.
Together half a century,
They’ve quite a tale these two
Of growing up together,
Handsome GL and pretty Sue
Happy 50th Anniversary, Paw Paw and Maw Maw!
Love,
Cindy
