Poetic Toasts to Couple

Are you searching for just the right sentiment to express your joy at the marriage of your friends or family? From a bridal shower to the best man's toast, to a toast to the bride from her mom, I will write a creative moving toast to the bride and groom.

Here is an actual poetic toast given from friends of the couple. Mike wrote, "Amy, We loved your poem! My husband read it and said he might cry. Sappy guy, I know. Thanks again for all the help! Best, Wendy"

I will use your personal anecdotes about the bride and groom to create your verse. Share what this couple means to you. It is important to freely express yourself on the questionnaire which will arrive in your email upon receipt of your order.

Follow Wendy's lead and kindly place your order here or click the ORDER NOW button at the top of this page.

Your poem will be emailed to you within four business days after receipt of your order. For rush service, please check off the Rush Order Box found halfway down the order page.

A Toast to the Couple

Dear David and Amy,

David Chaplin and Amy Fawcett,
A couple extraordinaire.
Laden with panache,
And lots of golden flair.

What a night this is,
We're feted and we're fed.
And tomorrow at this time,
Amy and David will be wed!

It took long enough,
Seven, count 'em, years.
Amy is most patient,
She and David are surely, truly dears.

Introduced way back,
By their mutual friend, Masud.
What a deed he's done,
He's one awesome dude.

They started dating in '99,
Since then all is great.
And getting to this point right now?
It really is sweet fate.

They go to Santa Anita,
Really love the track.
Have a great ol' time,
Can't wait to get back.

Amy works for California,
That big old Golden State.
She's a vocational counselor,
Does a job that's just first rate.

David does marketing at Paramount,
And screenplays are his life.
Here's a plot point switch:
Tomorrow, Amy's his wife!

They have one "child," a "dog-ter."
That's Roxy, the vunderPet.
They take her everywhere,
Royal treatment she does get.

Roxy rides with them in airplanes,
A first class pooch is she.
Their honeymoon? Alas, without her,
I wonder how it will be?

Here's a mystery unsolved,
The question of the hour:
Why does David take so long,
Simply just to shower?

He takes the LONGEST time to get ready,
Whenever this couple goes out.
Amy takes a lot LESS time,
Incredible? No doubt.

They're the sweetest aunt and uncle,
To our Isabelle and Tyler, too.
So warm and fun and loving,
They don't know what to do.

This guy from Hobart College,
A product of Geneva, NY's snow,
And his bride-to-be from Purdue and Arizona,
Are now about to go…

…Down the aisle to marriage,
Tomorrow, their golden day.
With all our love and wishes,
For greatest joys in every way.

Love,

Damon and Wendy
