Such is the case with Joe, whose 80th birthday verse I created. Read it now.
Dear Amy, "WOW, what a birthday poem! It truly describes my husband to a 'T'. How do you do it?
You're so talented! I'll be back for more for the entire family! Sincerely, Anita"
At this time, consider a heartfelt poem as the gift itself. From funny to

Husband Birthday Poem - An Example
Dear Joe,
Here's to sweet Joe Maximiano
80 years young and strong.
We love him oh so much,
Of that you're never wrong.
Grew up in Pawtucket,
Portuguese and proud.
Adventuresome and fearless,
A leader in any crowd.
Had so many fun times
With sisters Fern and Pat.
Crazy about his family,
You can be sure of that.
One of the world's great huggers,
He married Martha, for sure.
A joyous life together,
Has yielded pleasures galore.
Taught school for a living,
Really had a blast.
Loves his brood of kids,
From first right to the last.
A true romantic soul,
Old fashioned in his ways.
His love for mom is beautiful,
He really can amaze.
He sails with a grand passion,
Anything, he'll try.
Followed a golden whim
When he learned to fly.
Up there in his Cessna,
He has a perfect day.
The only thing that rivals it
Is sailing Narragansett Bay.
Plays horseshoes like a champ,
Known to bring home a horse.
A motorcycle, backhoe, dump truck?
With Joe, they're all matters of course.
Devoted in every way,
Always shows such care.
And yes, without a doubt,
He's a hugger extraordinaire.
Loves the Big Band sound,
He'll sing "Tequila" in every shape or way.
Known to all for this:
Eating 4 or 5 apples a day.
Serves at daily Mass,
Full of spirit, deep of soul.
Generous and devoted,
This great man is truly whole.
Traveled far and wide,
Throughout his Navy years, you know.
A master of a carpenter,
Still always on the go.
Has the fullest heart,
In which we all can trust.
Says "If you ever stop moving,
Hey
you're gonna rust.!"
Dear husband, dad and wonder,
Bright as that warm old sun above.
On this, your 80th birthday,
Our endless thanks, our joy, our love.
Love,
Your Loving Family
