Funny 50th Birthday Poem, An Example
Abraham Allen Rudolph,
Abe to one and all.
Now he enters "Geezertown,"
50 years - and standing tall.
The pride of Good Harbor Beach,
He was really quite a child.
Hyperactive as hell,
And sometimes even wild.
Loved his grandpa so,
Truly his shining star.
Abe showed his respect,
By stealing grandpa's car.
The teachers were at wits end,
'Cause Abe broke every rule.
Said he'd amount to nothing,
But he graduated Harvard B-School.
A wiz at electronics,
With the biggest soul
Founded Rudolph Electrics
I tell ya, this man's in control.
He's truly an over-achiever,
His heart, it has no ends.
So many people adore him,
Because he's for sure the best of friends.
Has a Lab named Blackie,
The most lovable dog around
Would always swim with you
The best that can be found.
Abe works and plays so hard,
Snow boarding and a marathon run.
Climbs high up in the mountains,
Loves surfing in the sun.
He has great friends from all over
Like Paul and Gary, you bet.
Or John up in Canada,
Better it just won't get.
He's quite a mischief-maker,
Really has plenty of pluck.
After all, it takes something special
To be banned for life -- by Wolfgang Puck.
No matter, he's the best,
In any way, shape or part.
Mostly, as I said,
Because of his boundless heart.
This sweet child of Esther and Joe
Has grown into a wondrous man.
For his heart, his mind, his spirit,
I love him as much as one can.
So Abe, dear, I mean it,
You're bright as any star above.
With wishes to last forever,
For you…all my birthday love.
Love,
Freida
