Dear Brian,
Brian Harvey Isbell,
My dearest friend, you know.
You mean so much to me,
Can't bear it when you go.
These 8 weeks you're away,
Make me miss you much.
That's because in so many ways
My heart you surely touch.
Friends like us are unusual,
Our love is surely rare.
It's based on rock solid knowledge,
For each other, we're always there.
Things started out, well…flighty.
Tupelo Regional Airport was the spot.
Bumpy at first, we worked it out,
I learned to love you a lot.
Brian, your sense of humor
Keeps me laughing all the time.
Peaches, listen to Cream!
You're as wondrous as a rhyme.
Never a dull moment.
Excitement is your middle name.
And the way you love your step mom,
Is truly your claim to fame.
We're always on the same steady page,
Without a shake or a shiver.
You know me just so well,
