Dog Sympathy Poems
Mere words can not express the love you have for your pet. Nothing we
do or say wil bring him back, yet a comforting pet poem often will help ease your pain.
That's exactly what we do here at Poems To Go. Whether dog, cat, snake, or any animal,
we'll create a touching memorial for your beloved pet.
Here's a true-life poem we created for Blackie.
"Dear Amy, Words can not express how comforting your poem was at our time of loss. It truly
helped us get through a very dark place. Much love, keep up the good work, Freida and family"
A touching poem is a great way to say good-bye to the animal who has just passsed and also communicate
with the family that survives.

A Dog Sympathy Poem Example
Sasha Sue Diengott,
For sure, the world's greatest pet.
Truly one of the family,
A greater love you just won't get.
A Golden Retriever beauty,
Gorgeous eyes of brown,
Sumptuous soft blonde fur,
Known to all around.
Oh, we'll miss the way
She licked us, yes it's true.
That was Sasha's way
Of saying "I love you."
Any time we got the news
A sock was MIA,
We knew for sure that Sasha
Had a special meal that day.
The stinkier the sock,
The better to her taste.
And then the way it passed
Through her system with such haste!
She loved her time with Ricky,
Freida, Steve and Lloyd.
But if you brushed or twisted her tail,
She sure would get annoyed.
Her wrestling matches with Steve
Were true sports classic fame.
She always kept the boys company
When they played a video game.
Freida would sometimes complain
About a house full of dog hair.
But considering Sasha's charms,
None of us would really care.
Sasha worked hard at her job,
Cleaning up every food spill.
We sure do wish dear Sasha
Were right here with us, still.
Her greetings at the door,
Were always lots of fun.
Chasing her around the yard,
We'd always laugh a ton.
She begged for whatever we ate,
It was like an endurance test.
She loved human food for sure,
And chicken was the best.
Chasing squirrels up a tree,
From the window, guarding the yard,
Sasha did it all,
And missing her is so hard.
She loved one word by far,
That was "walk," so neat.
She ran to the door and waited
To see her doggy friends down the street.
Her stuffed black bear was cherished,
She hated that orange hose.
We never will forget
Her adorable black nose.
Unconditional love,
Companionship divine.
Our lives were blessed with Sasha,
She was forever oh so fine.
We'll miss our dear sweet Sasha,
Yes, that's sad but true.
But she's forever in our hearts,
Sasha, we'll all always love you.
Love,
Ricky, Freida, Steve and Lloyd
