Anniversaries! A big moment in time. And the fiftieth is sure to be filled with lots of memories and experiences.
This is a great time to share it all with the ones you love. We suggest doing it in rhyme and we write them all day and night long..
To get a flavor of my writing, read Sue's poem to her beloved parents on their 50th. I use your stories and reflections of your parents
to create the verse. " Dear Amy, It's always a pleasure to work with you. I'm so excited with your poem. This is going to be a hit at the party. Thanks very much, Sincerely, Amy and Bill"
Take a look at what others have to say.

50th Anniversary Poem Examples
Amazing! Half a century
Of happy wedded bliss,
With highs and lows and in-betweens
All sweetened with a kiss.
A Brooklyn boy – that was young Manny,
Gordon and Anna’s son,
And when he met Amy
He knew she was the one.
Her mother, known as ‘Honey,’
And dad Gordon raised her right.
She went to Douglass College,
And Manny was her delight,
From Princeton to Columbia,
A Mt. Sinai physician.
He was soon an OB/GYN
Of prominent position.
A daughter, Jill, was their first,
And Adam two years after.
They raised both kids with loving warmth,
Security and laughter.
They went on trips together,
But sometimes there were snags.
They flew from California once
And, picking up their bags,
They saw one had sprung open and
Had let their laundry slip,
Plus ashtray souvenirs they’d claimed
Upon their West Coast trip.
That trip, when Jill’s shoe broke, Dad
Bought hammer and nails, and fixed it,
Then packed them in his bag, until
Security firmly nixed it.
While driving once to Boston, they
Tied luggage on the roof.
Seemed like a great idea but
They made just one small goof:
A suitcase soon went flying off
Into the road. Dad ran
On the Massachusetts Turnpike
To get it back again.
Though years flew by, and kids grew up
And soon were on their own,
Their life’s next stage was precious, too,
As dreams became full-blown.
Along came Daniel, Brian, Craig:
Three grandsons graced the clan!
They grew, and new adventures for
The family began.
Manny’s grandsons thought they’d treat him to
A New York Yankees game,
Complete with cap and home-plate seats.
Great fun…but, all the same,
Raised on the Brooklyn Dodgers,
That’s where the rift began.
As much as Manny loves baseball,
He is not a Yankees fan.
Manny and Amy still love life.
Each year, they hit the trail
With kids and grandkids, skiing in
The Rockies or at Vail.
They love their time in Florida,
Enjoying Boca West
For Jingle Bell Jaunts and Sweetheart Strolls
And friends that are the best.
Retired? Well, Dad’s a busy guy,
A recent CFP.
He reads, and raises vegetables,
And likes to golf and ski.
Mom loves to read nonfiction. She
Taught high school math for years.
She plans great trips and parties.
And each grandson’s games, she cheers.
So time does not hang heavy.
They have a zest for life.
Each anniversary’s golden for
This well-loved man and wife!
Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!
Love and hugs
Bill and Amy
